The hidden Treasures of Wasu. Visitors Paradise

Wasu, unlike most frequented tourist spots in Papua New Guinea has some of the best tourist sites that is still hidden from the world. Even if you are reading this, you will think, "Oh, what does this place has to offer?". Well, this place does not offer what most tourist spots offer but the little that it offers is far from what you have seen before. Have you ever gone through a waterfall and into a cave that houses hundreds of thousands of bats? Are you an enthusiastic rock climber and want to be the first to put your marks on this place? Monim Alawot is the place you can visit. It is a 60m falls. Behind the falls is a cavern that houses hundreds of thousands of bats. Another falls that holds true to the definition of beauty is the waitwait-ngan falls. These are number of falls that forms the Monggom river. Visit Siassi. The hidden Jewel of Morobe

Umboi island - popularly known as Siassi Island lies in the Bismarck sea, in Tewae Siassi District of Morobe Province Papua New Guinea. There are 8 inhabited small atoll islands that together with the main Umboi island make up the Siassi group of Islands. When visiting Siassi, the beautiful sceneries of the main island, the lakes, the rolling hills and waterfalls are some places one would not want to miss seeing. The underwater paradise of the atoll islands brings you to the realization that an underwater heaven does exist. Researchers who want to study underwater volcanoes can visit the Kurkur volcanic island, known as Rita island.
